Air Conditioning Zetland "Hey Google, Cool the Bedroom"
Zetland and the Green Square area are full of newer apartments where the lights, speakers and locks are already on a phone. Many residents want their air conditioning to join in, controlled by app, schedule or voice.
Updated October 2026
Air conditioning in Zetland apartments can be as smart as the rest of the home. Daikin Wi-Fi adaptors add app control and schedules to compatible systems, and AirTouch 5 brings room-by-room zoning with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri support for ducted setups. We install and configure them against your system so they actually work. Alpha & Omega has installed smart climate control since it arrived in Sydney homes.

Zetland FAQs
Zetland Smart Air Conditioning Questions
Can I control my air conditioner with Google Home or Alexa?
With AirTouch 5 on a ducted system, yes. AirTouch 5 works with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri.
Can my existing Daikin split get app control?
Many Daikin splits can take a Daikin Wi-Fi adaptor. We confirm compatibility from your model number.
Do you need my Wi-Fi password?
Ideally you enter it yourself during setup. Your app account stays in your name.
What if my apartment Wi-Fi is weak where the unit is?
Smart controls need a reasonable signal. A Wi-Fi extender or mesh node often solves it.
Can I set schedules for different rooms?
Yes. AirTouch 5 allows separate schedules for each zone on a ducted system.
Are your smart home installers licensed?
Yes. Installation work is carried out under ARC licence AU54289 and NSW contractor licence 329810C.
