Air Conditioning Hurstville Grove Comfort for Every Member of the Family
Hurstville Grove is a quiet, leafy pocket of family homes south of Hurstville, and plenty of those families include a dog or cat. On a hot day, a closed-up house can get uncomfortable for pets while everyone is at work or school.

Air conditioning in Hurstville Grove often has to look after pets as well as people. Dogs and cats cannot cool themselves as easily as we can, and a shut-up house heats quickly in summer. A reverse cycle system with Wi-Fi control lets you check the temperature and switch it on from your phone, while regular servicing deals with pet hair in the filters. Alpha & Omega has looked after local families and their pets since 1989.

Hurstville Grove Pet and Air Conditioning Questions
Is it safe to leave the air conditioner on for my dog?
Modern systems are designed to run unattended. Set a moderate temperature, leave water out and make sure your pet can move between rooms.
What temperature is best for pets?
Around 24 to 26°C suits most dogs and cats. Breeds with thick coats or flat faces may need it a little cooler on very hot days.
Does pet hair damage air conditioners?
It does not damage them directly, but it clogs filters and coils, reducing airflow and efficiency. More frequent filter cleaning prevents this.
Can I switch the system on from my phone while I am out?
Yes, with Daikin Wi-Fi on compatible models, or a smart controller on ducted systems.
How do I stop my dog chewing the outdoor pipes?
A protective cover or duct over the pipework helps. We can replace damaged insulation and fit covering at a service.
